Sitting in my cosy study here in Wales, UK, looking out onto 12 inches of snow-fall outside my house, the Spring MOVE tour seems a long way away! Even further away seems the COME TOGETHER compound in India, home of the GATEWAY SCHOOL. Yet however geographically or climatically distant I sometimes feel from fellow members of the body of Christ in the USA or in India, they are always in my thoughts. At long last, I'm able to leak a little piece of advance news that there is very likely to be a WIRED mission trip to visit India in July of 2011. Plans are at an early stage right now, but suffice to say I'll be leading the trip and we shall be spending time living with Pastor Prasad and his family, supporting the life of the Gateway School, ministering in some of the Ignite churches funded by Third Day's UK concerts, and exploring rural village life as we encourage local pastors. We'll also aim to visit the Leprosy colony I have been supporting over the years as well. In the New Year I'll be putting some application forms, costs and details together, and confirming the exact dates once some other Third Day international dates are fixed. By the way- being surrounded by snow brings to mind this lovely verse from scripture:

Is. 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. 

It's for this act of reconciliation and cleansing that Jesus took on human flesh and became God with Us that very first Christmas. It's a message that I'm praying thousands will determine to take out into their world as a result of the MOVE tour, and a message that those of you who come with me to India will see has real power to transform lost and damaged souls.
