PRAYING FOR US IN HAITI.
PRAYING FOR US IN HAITI.
Tai has eloquently explained about our trip to Haiti next week and has passionately expressed our desire to be 'sent' and to be prayed for. As always, Tai has shown wise spiritual judgment in his request. I don't really need to add too much to that, other than to lead you to some Scriptures which may help you pray!
Would you pray for us in the same way Paul and his companions prayed for the church in Thessalonica?:
With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.
We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 1.11-12
Would you pray these words of protection over us?
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalm 5.11-12
Would you pray this Psalm over the country of Haiti and all who work there to rebuild the country in the name of Jesus?:
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter — when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. “If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. Psalm 58.6-12

As a Wired member, I of course support everything the band does to further the kingdom of God. Prayers have been and will continue to be said for you, the band and all others traveling with you to Haiti. I am looking forward to seeing the country through your eyes so that I too may be touched by the people and their circumstances. All praise and glory to our Lord, Jesus Christ! I send you forth on this mission with all the hope and love and prayers of your friends everywhere who share your desire to help the least amongst us!
God Bless

Oh~the everlasting wisdom of this Holy One of Israel!
I bond in the Spirit with you in the Name of Yeshua!
I DO agree to stand with you in this season of Time.As you venture into the precious land of Haiti, that holds a special treasure in my heart, I agree that the King will go before you and protect your rear guard with special forces in assignment to the Holy One.
You are a dear group of musicians to me. You have penetrated and been used as a mighty tool of voice and administration of this Holy Spirit, at times that have been deeply intimate and tramatic to me and my family.
I ask that this Majestic King of the Universe will bless you and keep you. That He will make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. I ask that He bless you and give you perfect shalom in your assignments.
Shalom,
Shannon Sitar

I have prayed these prayers for you and will continue to because we know the Lord answers our prayers.
I have recently seen a documentary about Haiti and mainly in regard to all the homeless children who are starving, and beaten by gangs as they try to sleep in cramped doorways on the streets. The need there is so great-it would be so wonderful to see them realize the greatness of God, and His Son Jesus Christ and the promise of the Holy Spirit if they receive Him as their Savior! God could renew in them so much that they would do great things through Him that strengthens us who believe in Him! :) I praise the Lord because I know He will do great things through you each. Please know you are in our prayers, but more than that-you are in God's capable hands.
Sincerely,
Lisa Patterson
