Changes Regarding Your Wired Account
Dear Wired Member,
A Few Changes In The Works Are In The Works
In a consistent effort to make things better for you as a Wired Member and a fan, we have been making some changes to how we handle our online fan club. Two big moves came this past weekend by integrating our online store fulfillment and our Wired Fan Club directly with our website.
In addition, the Wired membership no longer includes a fan pack which has allowed us to offer future memberships at the reduced rate of $35 for an individual membership or $70 for a family membership. This also removes the shipping element from Wired memberships. New, exclusive Wired merchandise is already in the works, and the original Wired tees will soon be available for a limited time at a reduced price.
We are confident this move will allow us to serve you better. With any change, there are always a few small growing pains. Now that everything is connected to www.thirdday.com you must have a user account on the website to access your Wired Benefits.
For those of you that have already created and account and use the site as a Wired member, you should be able to continue just as you have provided your account was set up using the same email address as your Wired Membership.
If you are a Wired member and have never set up a user account on www.thirdday.com, one has been created for you. Your user name will be your First Name (space) Last Name. A password is required though. In order to create a password, you will need to:
You should receive an email with instructions on how to login for the first time. Once you log in you will need to set your password in your profile settings.
Once you have your account setup on www.thirdday.com you will be able to gain access to all of your Wired benefits. Go to www.thirdday.com/tour and click on the "Meet & Greet" button for a concert date to sign up for Meet & Greets (Yes, more dates will be announced shortly!).
Go to www.thirdday.com/store to get your 20% discount. The discount will be automatically added to your cart on check out.
Go to any page that has comments and your comments will be posted in the Wired Member Comments section giving you top billing on comments posted on the site.
You can login to your account at the top of any page on the website and your account will work on both www.thirdday.com and connect.thirdday.com. So, be sure to take full advantage of the site and your membership.
We are confident these new changes will allow us to serve you better. However, there may be a few bugs to work out in the transition. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences this may cause. Please know, we will be hard at work trying to make this transition as painless and seamless as possible for you.

Other than initial panic when my Wired password didn't work, I look forward to the new website. I have heard others already commenting in a positive manner concerning the look, and how the store has accomodated those looking for merch. It has been a long time coming. Thanks for working to make it better!!
