Winnipeg, MB: 01-26-12
This was our first show back in Canada since the last show of the spring Revelation Tour, and that was only one show. I think it's been about five years since we played in Winnipeg. We had a pretty relaxing day as we knocked out the traveling the day before. The whole band got together for a nice lunch in an irish pub, but there was no music playing, which made it a bit awkward. It's funny how you get used to having music in the background, and you really miss it when it's not there.
We went to the venue for a healthy soundcheck to blow off the cobwebs.
The show went really well. We're trying to get a feel for what music is going to connect the best up here. There were definitely a lot of requests for Thief. I'm sure we'll shake up this initial set as this run continues.

We had been waiting for some time for you to visit Winnipeg but you weren't coming to our city last year. After saving money for a year in the vacation fund, we had decided to venture to Grand Forks last October to see you in concert. However the Lord called upon us to help a friend's son who was going to lose the house his father had left him when he passed on. We donated our 3rd day concert money to help him out even though we had never met him.
I know in my heart that our wishes were answered with you coming to Winnipeg.
You're our favorite band and are thankful to have met you. Your music is uplifting and played lots in our household.
Never stop smiling Tai, your beautiful spirit shines through when you do. 8)
God willing, we'll see you on the cruise this July. I'm hoping you'll make Winnipeg a regular stop on your concert tour.

Thank you to Trevor Morgan for a great performance and the opportunity to meet you. You are a very dear person. I am richer for knowing you. To pastor David Nassar thank you so much for sharing your story with us. It was very inspiring and I hope I have the opportunity to meet you again. I would also like to share with you that we added a new member to our family. We sponsored a child at the event. We are all very excited about writing to him and being a part of his life. He is absolutely adorable. To Third Day and Trevor Morgan we hope to join you on the Alaskan cruise in July.

I think the best part of being there last night was the fact that we could all sing together and even though you are THIRD DAY, the coolest band in all of Christian music, before God, we were equal. My voice was heard by Him, your voice was heard by Him, and He was glorified by it all!! That is not something you share in at every Rock concert.
