“’Revelation’ is evidence that we didn’t want to settle with this record. When we recorded the album, we had plenty of songs to make the album, but we knew that we still wanted a couple more ideas. ‘Revelation’ was one of those prayer songs that I had written. A lot of people see the title of it and assume they know what it’s about, but it’s not really having to do with finding a revelation as with needing one. I’m really praying ‘God, saying I’m at this crossroad in my life and I genuinely don’t know what to do.’ It’s asking God to give guidance in that time of question.” – Mac Powell

    Your concert on March 25 at Groove City, Ohio was a blessing from god to you and us. The lord let us find K Love radio station. It has changed our lives and our path with the lord in our lives. Your concert filled my heart and mt husbands. You guys are his favorite band. We were going through tough times and he didnt know what direction he was going. He put the song revelation into his life. So we thank you and jesus giving third day the voice to spread the word of the gospel in our lives.

    Honeysuckle Blue connection: We tip the hat to one of our musical influences with the ending of this song live. We used to play that song in soundcheck when we were first starting off and it worked over the chords to the song. It's a little wink to music fans our same age from our hometown of ATL!
